Life is sacred combustion

Written by Timothy Orikri on August 31, 2014

Most people do not truly live, they merely exist. Breathing, but not burning. Moving, but not awakening. Many die ten or twenty years before their burial, surrendering their wonder long before heaven calls them home. They place their dreams on sale for comfort, fear, routine, and approval.

But life was never meant to be lived dimly.

Life is sacred combustion.
A privilege wrapped in breath.
A divine chance to arrive fully awake.

There are countless souls beneath the earth who would give anything for one more sunrise, one more laugh, one more embrace, one more chance to begin again. Yet so many of us, still alive, move through existence half-heartedly muted, hesitant, pale.
No.
Play hard. Love hard. Paint hard.
Rock this life as fiercely as you can.

Do not be dragged through your days. Do not be pushed by fear, trends, or the opinions of tired people. Stand in the center of your own fire.

Be all in.

Live in vivid color like wet paint exploding across a canvas, like crimson dancing beside gold, like blue flames kissing midnight skies.

Be exuberance. Be splendor.
Be holy enthusiasm. Be fierce sweetness. Be the splash, the spark, the thunderous brushstroke.

I am fire. I am obsessed with living deeply. Not because life is easy, but because every breath is a sacred offering from the Creator who continues to lend me His air.

My passion is gratitude. My creativity is worship. My intensity is proof that I know life is fleeting.

So rise with paint on your hands and music in your spirit. Rise untamed.
Rise expressive. Rise determined.

Leave behind a life so vivid, so loving, so ablaze with purpose, that even silence remembers your color.
